Here is Stacey working with Scout.
I picked this picture because Scout was one of the very first patients that we worked with at the Cabin.
He was good enough to help us learn how to use the underwater treadmill.
Stacey has also been a member of the rehab team since the beginning.
We started working on our rehab office in fall of 2015.
At that time, we picked 4 technicians to train to do the rehab visits.
In that group, there were 3 that I knew by name and "the new girl."
"The new girl," as it turned out was Stacey.
For various reasons, Stacey is the only technician from that initial group that is still doing rehab with us.
And, she is doing a great job!
Stacey is completely dedicated to the work we do in rehab.
And it shows.
She is wonderful at getting the patients to do the work we've planned for them.
I frequently get glowing feedback from clients about her.
And, she is always pushing me to make myself and the care we all provide better.
And, she is certified in massage for animals.
As I am writing this, I am wondering how Stacey will feel about this blog.
She and I have spoken many times about the team approach to care that we take in rehab.
We really want the experience in rehab to be about the care and the outcomes, not about any one of us individually.
We still feel that way.
I just wanted to take a moment to recognize one of our team members.
She's been at my side in rehab the whole time, and I hope she will be for a long time to come.
Thanks, Stacey, for all you do.
