We had such a fun visit last week.
That's two terrific visits in a row.
It certainly did not start out that way.
I first saw Peaches in October, and she was very weak in her hind end.
She'd had hind end weakness and, briefly, even paralysis in her back legs for 2+ weeks.
She had shown a slight improvement with steroids, and no improvement with pain meds.
Peaches' mom brought her to KVet to see me.
After a veterinary exam and a review of Peaches' x-rays, I did my assessment of her.
We then started chiropractic care.
At first, progress was slow, but at least there was progress.
Now over the last 4-6 weeks, we seem to have turned the corner.
Peaches bounds into the office, happy and exuberant.
Now, our job is to keep Peaches her fun self.
Because of the changes that we found in her spine, Peaches is likely to continue to benefit from chiropractic as supportive care.
I know that I am looking forward to a long and happy relationship with Peaches and the people who love her.
