25 years ago today I graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.
While I was in chiropractic college I had a dog named Jacob, and he helped introduce me to Animal Chiropractic.
While I was in Iowa, Jacob and I were fortunate enough to meet and work with Dr. Sharon Willoughby. Dr. Willoughby had graduated from Veterinary College, and then went through the entire Chiropractic curriculum at Palmer. She was truly responsible for establishing Animal Chiropractic as an organized discipline. One of her offices at that time was a short drive from the College, and I made the trip over there with Jacob many times.
Jacob, Dr. Willoughby and many of you have helped me grow in countless ways over the last 25 years.
For everyone's part along this journey, I am grateful.
I am looking forward to many more years of joyful service (and some day seeing Jacob again, across the Rainbow Bridge).
