Cat and Exotic Pet Boarding

The Cabin Spa by K. Vet Animal Care now provides boarding accommodations for a wide variety of exotic pets and cats. We are equipped with multi-level cat condos allowing our guests to have room to move about and be more comfortable. We also provide some habitats and enclosures for our exotic friends, although we may ask that you provide your own in some circumstances. During operating hours, we have designated areas for our guests to spread their wings and play (with supervision). We do ask that you provide food, treats, and bedding needed during their stay. We encourage you to call the office at 724-691-0199 to inquire about more details so we can help accommodate your pets’ needs and provide you with an estimate.

Veterinary Requirements:

Cats:

• Annual physical exam within the past year
• Must have the following vaccines: Rabies, Feline Distemper and Feline Leukemia
• Tested negative for Feline Leukemia
• Negative fecal sample within the last 6 months

Exotics:

• Annual physical exam within the past year
• Negative fecal exam/culture within the last 6 months

Exotic Pets:

Rabbits

Birds (parakeet, parrots, love birds and cockatiels)

Reptiles (size may vary, please call to inquire)

Small mammals (hamsters, guinea pigs, mice, rats, ferrets, chinchillas)

Pricing:

$20 a day

*Additional fees for medication administration or special daily care/treatments

Drop Off time: 9 am – 11 am and 3 pm - 5 pm

Pick up time: 9 am – 11 am, pick up’s after 11 am will qualify for an additional day. The facility closes at 7 pm.
